ROSELAND, NJ – In January, 2011, Heather G. Suarez, Esq., a partner at Walder, Hayden & Brogan, P.A., Roseland, New Jersey, was asked to join the board of Women Rising, Inc. Since joining the board, she has been a member of its Fund Development Committee. As a committee member, Heather was instrumental in arranging for Women Rising to host a Meet & Greet at 2600 Kennedy Blvd., in Jersey City. This event was held on October 10, 2011, and provided an opportunity for building residents and other Jersey City residents to learn about the important work being done each and every day by a Jersey City based non-profit. more

PATERSON, NJ – Liberty Elevator held three safety seminars on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at the O.R.A.C.L.E. Learning Center, 150 Smith Road, Parsippany in honor of Elevator Safety Month. Attendees included property managers and building engineers who were eager to increase awareness of their elevator equipment and its safe functionality.

One morning seminar and two afternoon seminars were conducted by John Miller, Director of Operations, and Peter Stackhouse, Director of Retail Operations. Topics included door safety, fire safety and emergency evacuation procedures. Liberty also recommended tips for owners and managers to take to keep their elevators safe and working properly on a regular basis. more

Deborah Cerbone, P.P., R.L.A., is featured in the June/July issue of Design, NJ Magazine. She was interviewed for an article on landscaping in deer country titled "UnDEERing Qualities". more

PATERSON, NJ – Liberty Elevator was among several New Jersey real estate professionals who attended the May 19th grand opening of the O.R.A.C.L.E. learning center, at Planned Companies' corporate headquarters at 150 Smith Road, Parsippany.

The ceremonial ribbon cutting was preceded by Mayor James R. Barberio's keynote address at 10:30 a.m. Barberio addressed the importance of professional development through continued education and the local benefits of the O.R.A.C.L.E. center to the community. Local officials were also in attendance, including the Parsippany Area Chamber of Commerce President, Robert Peluso. more

ASBURY, NJ – J.G. Petrucci Co., Inc. ("JGPCO"), one of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania region's most respected development and design/build organizations, announced today that it has opened an office in Northeast Pennsylvania to handle the company's design/build and development projects in the region, including the construction of a 16,000 sq. ft. medical office building for Greystone Development in Mountain Top, PA and JGPCO's involvement as the master developer for the Wayne County Economic Development Corporation ("WEDCO") at its Sterling Business Park, a 252-acre mixed use business park along the Pennsylvania I-84 Corridor in Wayne County, PA. more

Stephen Segal and Anne LaBate are opening the door to a new era as Segal Commercial Real Estate becomes Segal LaBate Commercial Real Estate this fall. LaBate will now officially head the firm as president. A graduate of Rutgers and New York Universities, LaBate is marking her 20th year in the commercial real estate industry. As president of Segal LaBate, she brings optimism to the agency she has worked for since 1991 as she tells her customers and potential clients to "Look for the new signs!"
